Love Is Blind Reunion: Here’s Where All the Couples Stand Now - Vanity Fair

This post contains spoilers for the Love Is Blind reunion special.

Love Is Blind is back to sprinkle some chaotic energy onto your week. On Wednesday night, Netflix released Love Is Blind: The Reunion, a “where are they now” special that lets us see where all the couples stand more than a year after this wicked social experiment first took place. There were tears, there were insults, there was a very confusing proposal on bended knee. After all that, here’s your guide to the couples who decided to stay together, and all the ex-couples who have only drifted further apart.

Kelly and Kenny

Bless their hearts. After Kelly shocked Love Is Blind viewers by rejecting Kenny at the altar (to the embarrassment of her mother, who was also obviously in love with Kenny), it seemed unlikely that these two would get back together. And…they didn’t. Kenny actually revealed that he’s in a happy new relationship, far away from the prying eyes of that nosy Ted Sarandos. Kelly, meanwhile, says she’s still single, delivering an emotional monologue about constantly friendzoning great guys. There, there, dearie.

Giannina and Damian

Unlike Kenny and Kelly, these two have (surprisingly!) been able to work things out and are back together. Even though Damian left Giannina at the altar, prompting her to sprint through the streets in stilettos and tear up a single piece from the bottom of her wedding dress (scientists still can‘t explain her thought process behind that), she’s taken him back and they swear they’re happily in love. They are still spending mornings at the gym together and, presumably, negging each other every second of the way there.

Amber and Barnett

Everyone’s favorite sex hounds are still together and proud of it, babe. Amber still laughs like the tipsiest, most supportive audience member at a friend’s sparsely attended comedy show. Barnett still possess the allure and charisma of wet duck. It’s bliss! They got a new house closer to the city together! Great for this couple, the living embodiment of a kitschy “life is good” car decal.

Mark and Jessica

They’re now married and expecting their first child together. Just kidding! They are, of course, still separated after Jessica left Mark at the altar, still consumed by her massive crush on Barnett. Depending on where you stand, it was either painfully sad or the height of schadenfreude to watch Jessica relive the entire season at the reunion and get a verbal lashing from Amber, who is clearly a student of the Real Housewives school of confrontation. But either way, it was certainly gratifying to finally see Jessica apologize to Mark and admit, on globally streamed television, that he is wildly hot, despite all the times she trashed his appearance in the series.

Diamond and Carlton

Well, of course this duo isn’t back together. But unlike the fiery Amber and Jessica reunion, this reunion went a lot more calmly. Diamond revealed that that she and Carlton had actually spoken prior to the reunion, patching things up so they could move on with their lives. Carlton also took time to apologize for that brutal poolside argument that torpedoed their relationship.

Then, the real surprise of the episode: Carlton got down on one knee, apologized again, and offered her a ring—yes, the very same ring that he tossed into the pool at the height of their argument. It wasn’t a proposal, but rather an offering of “a significant piece of our friendship and the start of something beautiful without any plan.” Whatever that means! (Spoiler: it definitely means nothing.)

Lauren and Cameron

A god-tier couple blessed by Aphrodite herself. Yes, they’re still together! The swirlmance lives! The duo also revealed that they have a puppy now, even though Cameron once swore that he would never date a woman who wanted a dog (love is so powerful, wow). But let’s be real: Cameron would quite literally do anything Lauren asked him to do, including, but not limited to, quietly murdering anyone who dares touch her hair without her consent. The almighty herself smiles down on this union. And yes, Lauren‘s tough dad finally approves of Cameron because he too has both eyes and a heart.

Vanessa and Nick

The consummate hosts of this chaotic Netflix experiment are still together after nine years of marriage, but they don’t really let us in, you know? Perhaps next season.
