Paul Stanley is confident that he'll be over the worst of his bout with COVID very soon.

KISS canceled several shows last week following Stanley's positive COVID test. The band and crew of Kiss's 'End of the Road' farewell tour have been taking utmost pandemic precautions behind the scenes, so when Paul didn't feel well, everyone in the touring party got tested.

Stanley had been experiencing some flu-like symptoms — namely fatigue — when his test came back positive. The rest of the band and crew all tested negative Thursday, and that appears to still be the case, as they are all now in quarantine.

"Some really rough days behind and hopefully just a few more ahead," Stanley Tweeted on Friday. "Then, I'M COMIN' OUT THERE TO SEE YOU!!!!"

Kiss canceled all of its remaining August shows following Stanley's positive test. The band is expected to issue an update soon regarding its September gigs. Kiss has seven shows between September 1 - 12.

While COVID carriers are generally asked to quarantine for 10 days after testing positive, Stanley is fully-vaccinated and may be able to exit quarantine after a week as long as he tests negative today or tomorrow (whichever day constitutes five days since his positive test), per the CDC.

Gene Simmons assured TMZ on Friday that, while Stanley was experiencing COVID symptoms, he would be fine, thanks to being fully vaccinated.
