Think you can't possibly stomach another cheesy romantic comedy? Netflix's Love, Guaranteed is here to prove you wrong. The film stars Rachael Leigh Cook as Susan, an impossibly glamorous small-time lawyer who agrees to represent Nick (aka Coach from New Girl, aka Damon Wayans Jr) as he attempts to sue a dating website for failing to find him true love. Asking pertinent questions about the ethics of modern dating apps, Nick and Susan's case soon heats up - as does their relationship. Let's just say things don't stay 'professional' for long...
Originally dreamed up by Rachael Leigh Cook (who then pitched the idea to Netflix), Damon Wayans Jr told CS Video that on reading the script he felt, "the journey seemed real, the stakes were real", before adding that his partner's best friend is "currently suing a dating site because they essentially guaranteed love and she didn't find it."
Proving that there's still plenty of room in our hearts for good old-fashioned cringe-fests, viewers took to Twitter to express their excitement:

It's fair to say that not all viewers were totally thrilled at the prospect of yet another rom-com though, with some pointing out the *questionable* nature of some of Nick's antics:

Is it cheesy? Absolutely. But tbh, after the year it's been, we reckon everyone deserves a little light relief.
