Good Friday will bring the return of the highly anticipated dating reality show "Ready to Love" on OWN.
Produced by Will Packer and hosted by comedian Thomas "Nephew Tommy" Miles, the show explores the world of dating and relationships for 19 Black singles here in the Bayou City. "Ready to Love" features successful black men and women in their 30s and 40s as they go through the steps of courtship.
According to a release, the show's most recent cycle helped make OWN No. 1 on Friday nights for African American viewers.

Alexis Jones, a contestant on the show and fellow Houstonian told Joe Sam at KPRC what she took away from being on the show.
"'Ready to Love' teaches you a lot about yourself. It makes you put up a mirror and say: 'I might need to work on that.' It also challenges you to love yourself, if it comes down to two choices and you don't have the best choices, guess what? Choose you."
Miles, a Houston native and host of the show shared his excitement about the upcoming airing of the show.
"I feel excited to bring the show to Houston, this is a big to-do for me. I get to pop my collar and showcase my city," Miles tells Chron. "The people will get to see how great of a city Houston is -- they'll get to see The Breakfast Club and the Turkey Leg Hut, and some places that some Houstonians might not be familiar with."
According to Miles, fans of the dating show can expect lots of twists and turns in season four.
"I'm throwing curveballs every week. You may think you know what's going to happen, but we're really three or four steps ahead of you."
Miles exclusively told Chron that this season of "Ready To Love" is doing something it's never done before. "We're going to bring back a cast member from a previous season."
The series is produced by Will Packer Media and Lighthearted Entertainment, and airs, Friday, April 2 on OWN.
