Legacies spoilers follow for season 3 episode 3 'Salvatore: The Musical'.
Legacies star Kaylee Bryant has responded to her character Josie Saltzman's kiss with Jade in the fantasy drama's recent musical episode.
'Salvatore: The Musical' saw Josie, her twin sister Lizzie Saltzman (Jenny Boyd), Kaleb Hawkins (Chris Lee) and Jed (Ben Levin) take on the respective roles of The Vampire Diaries characters Elena Gilbert, Caroline Forbes, Damon Salvatore and Stefan Salvatore in a Salvatore School musical, retelling the story of the school's founding through song.
After the show was over, Josie met up with Jade (Giorgia Whigham) and they discussed their futures, with Jade revealing that she was leaving Salvatore School. She suggested that Josie should also think about where she sees herself heading after Josie admitted that she felt she had changed but that nothing around her had.

Before Jade left, she and Josie shared a romantic kiss and, during a chat with TVLine, actress Bryant opened up about what Josie's relationship with Jade means to her and how it could inspire Josie to make a change in her life.
"Josie is not exactly the quickest with things. She needs to learn a lesson before she takes a big leap, and Jade was a huge lesson to her," she explained. "She openly said, 'This place isn't right for me.' Josie's been feeling that way for a while now.
"She gave up her magic after really struggling with an addiction to it. And now she's living in a place surrounded by magic. It's all she's ever known, so hearing someone say that they're removing themselves from an unhealthy environment is something that Josie definitely needs to hear.
"This is what really kicks her into gear in taking the steps necessary to take care of herself."

The musical episode also featured a special guest appearance – albeit via the form of voiceover only – from Vampire Diaries star Candice King, who reprised her role as Caroline.
Caroline sent a letter to struggling Lizzie during the episode, with her voice being heard reading out the message of encouragement in which she said that Lizzie was "not broken" and was "growing and changing everyday".
Legacies boss Julie Plec has spoken about Caroline's surprise cameo, explaining that actress King has "a soft spot in her heart for this show".
Legacies airs on The CW in the US.
