With COVID-19 rates growing throughout the Southwest US and many consumers in the Far West and Northeast sporting face masks when they do go out, kissing, for many, is out of the question. Unfortunately, for the beauty industry, so is wearing lipstick.

In fact, Kline, a market research firm, predicts that lipsticks will be one of the worst performing categories in the beauty industry in 2020.
