BILL SKARSGARD: Yeah, I did a short film when I was 16 that was like about a relationship. Kind of something happens between these teenagers. And it kind of verges on rape at the end. Or But it's within-- within the relationship. And it's like these kind of things that are very topical.
But that was my first. And then reading the script was like super graphic. The sex scenes. I was like 16. I mean, this is in Sweden. So yes, it's a little bit different. But I remember being like OK, you know, I've never done this before.
I'm like 16. You know, if I want to be an actor, obviously this is like something that I want to explore, and do sex scenes. Or do-- you know?
- It is an interesting thing to get introduced to.
BILL SKARSGARD: It is. It's weird. But then as soon as you do it, it's like-- so I remember before you've ever done it, it feels much stranger. I mean, for you can imagine, it was feeling like super strange to kiss a stranger in front of a camera.
But when you do it, it's just a different thing. Like so getting that out of the way. I'm like OK, and you sit down with the other actor. And you talk about the scene is like. We're going to kiss. We're going to do this, and we're going to do this.
- Do you kiss in the rehearsal or not?
BILL SKARSGARD: But it's kind of figuring that out. And it's like I don't even remember it being a thing when we did it. Like, it's never been a thing for me.
