BILL NIGHY: I don't-- but my first-- I don't remember my first on screen kiss. I always know that you have to have a conversation about tongues because you never know how people feel. Do you want my tongue in your mouth, you know? I mean, and not-- and weirdly not everybody does. I mean, how do-- [INAUDIBLE] you know, what can I say? But-- see, but you always have to have it.
Once at drama school I kissed someone. I just kissed them like you would kiss someone and she ran from the room. So that was the first time I ever kissed anyone sort of non-romantically kind of thing.
So-- and I was so mortified, you know. I mean, you would be, wouldn't you. You kiss somebody and they run out of the room. You can't help but take it sort of personally, you know. It's not like, but she was so-- you know, and she had to be consoled and she was crying, and it was terrible, you know.
And I just didn't know that there was any other way of kissing, but there is a sort of way of kissing without tongues. It's very lonely and sad, but it's-- but it's there, you know. So you always have to say, and I've always, since that moment, I always say, how do you like to kiss?
And then people say, what do you mean? You know, like, what? Is it a problem? No, it's not a problem. I just want to say, you know, because--

BILL NIGHY: I don't ever want that to happen to me again.

BILL NIGHY: Maybe. I don't know. Hope-- I don't know. Possibly.
