The First United Methodist Church hosts its 19th annual free Thanksgiving Day Love Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 25.
This year’s love dinner takes place via drive-thru or contactless delivery.
The drive thru will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 201 N. Main St., located at the corner of Main Street and Sandusky Avenue.
Delivery is offered from noon to 2 p.m. for those who pre-register.
The full Thanksgiving meal includes roast turkey, homemade gravy, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, green beans, dressing and pie.
Last year, approximately 820 meals were prepared for the love dinner, including 40 turkeys.
Individuals requesting delivery service should place their requests by 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23. They are asked not to leave a voice mail, but to call (937) 592-9651 between 9 a.m. and noon or 1 and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
For the contactless delivery to take place, the participants need to provide a valid phone number.
Donations are welcome, but not required.
