Accused Portland attacker Marquise Love has a lengthy rap sheet - New York Post

A Black Lives Matter protester wanted for allegedly knocking out a driver in Portland has a lengthy rap sheet in Oregon, including charges of domestic assault and theft, records show.

Marquise Love, 25, has been jailed at least seven times over the past eight years in Washington County, the sheriff’s office there said.

He’s also faced charges in two other counties for driving offenses.

Love’s most recent bust was in 2017 for domestic assault and domestic harassment. A Washington County judge signed a protective order against him on March 9 of that year, but there are no records showing a criminal prosecution, a court clerk said.

The year before, he was nabbed in two separate incidents, including one on charges of providing false information in connection with a transfer of a firearm and the other on domestic assault and criminal trespass charges.

In 2015, he was thrown behind bars for interfering with public transportation. And he was charged with a probation violation in 2014.

His two collars in 2012 were for alleged theft in one incident and interfering with public transportation and criminal trespass in another.

A spokesman for Washington County District Attorney Kevin Barton did not immediately provide information on the disposition of each case.

Online court records only detail Love’s prosecution in one case in Washington County District Court, where he pleaded guilty to interfering with public transportation on Nov. 30, 2012.

Love was sentenced to 18 months’ probation and a $500 fine, but later had $400 converted to 40 hours of community service, a clerk said.

His probation was extended twice, through March 1, 2016, and he still owes the court $25 toward his fine and another $7 for a collection fee, the clerk added.

Records also show three other prosecutions in two other counties, the oldest of which dates to Oct. 1, 2012, when he was busted in coastal Clatsop County, northwest of Portland, for driving without a valid license or insurance.

Love was convicted when he failed to appear in court and has been slapped with $1,164.80 in fines and collection fees that remain unpaid, records show.

Love was also charged in Multnomah County Criminal Court with causing unreasonable noise with a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license, no insurance, no registration and improper plates on July 31, 2016, and convicted on all counts about two months later.

He’s been assessed a total of $1,779.20 in that case — all of which remain unpaid, records show.

Love also failed to appear in Multnomah County Criminal Court after he was charged with speeding and driving without a license on Jan. 16, 2019, and owes $1,414 in that case, records show.

Love was also named in a domestic-relations case in which a Washington County court order established his paternity of an unidentified child in 2014, records show. The woman in that case could not be reached.

The ex-security guard is being hunted by Portland cops for allegedly beating Adam Haner in a vicious attack that was caught on video Sunday night.

The alleged assault came during a confrontation between Haner and Black Lives Matter protesters, who yanked Haner out of his Ford 4×4 truck and shoved him to the ground.

Witnesses say Haner stopped to help a transgender woman being mugged by the mob. But protesters claim he tried to run them over with his truck.

Love is seen in the video wearing a vest that reads “Security” — though he reportedly was fired from his security gig four months ago.

Police are urging Love to turn himself in.

Haner was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a hospital and released — and a GoFundMe page has raised funds toward fixing his truck and his recovery.
