These days it seems everyone is declaring their "love for the gov" — as in New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
An annual survey conducted by professional matchmaker Maureen Tara Nelson found the governor tops the list of most desirable men in New York City.
"I think it all started with the daily briefings," she said.
Nelson chatted with PIX11’s Betty Nguyen about the top five reasons behind this new-found love for the governor.
“We ask our singles what their best qualities are, and then what are the five must-haves of what they’re looking for,” Nelson said. “I would say most of my clients, the five things they’re looking for, the governor has them, which is intelligence, strength and powerful, family oriented, handsome and assertive.”
Cuomo is currently single, but given all that the governor has on his plate right now, it's unclear when he will be ready to mingle.
