CLARKSTON, MI - It may be a little chilly outside when Kiss performs what is likely to be their final Michigan concert ever. The September 1 show will now take place on Friday, October 15 at DTE Energy Music Theatre.
The rockers had to postpone multiple concerts after Gene Simmons announced he tested positive for COVID-19. His announcement came right after fellow band-mate, Paul Stanley, announced he had just recovered from the virus. Kiss said everyone on the tour, both band and crew, have been fully vaccinated.
Tickets for the previously scheduled dates (September 1, 2020 and September 11, 2021) will be honored at the rescheduled date and fans are encouraged to hold onto their tickets. More information will be emailed to ticketholders directly.
Now that the group has quarantined for 10 days, doctors have advised the band is safe to resume the tour beginning on Thursday, September 9th at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA. Due to routing and availability, the concerts in Hartford, Milwaukee, and Raleigh will be postponed to 2022.
