What Love brings to the Cavs
Kelsey Russo, Cavs beat writer: Love's return to the starting lineup tonight, alongside Larry Nance Jr., brings both veteran leadership and someone who is a true power forward. Love adds another threat on the perimeter, which the Cavs lacked in the first half of the season. They were ranked last in the league in 3-point attempts, averaging 27.4 per game.
Coach J.B. Bickerstaff said pregame that Love can impact the game with the way he makes his teammates better on the floor. He slows the game down and plays at his own tempo. There will likely be an adjustment period because Love has missed so much time. But as he reacclimates to the team, his return will be a solid addition to the young core.
