Love Is Blind: When Netflix Will Release Season 2 & What We Know So Far - Screen Rant

A legion of fans is looking forward to watching Netflix's Love Is Blind season 2 in 2021, and reports indicate that the season could be closer than we'd think. In 2020, the American edition of The Circle opened the floodgates of compelling reality TV content coming out of Netflix. But it was really with Love Is Blind that the streaming service reached the zenith of pop culture interest and awareness. People from all over the world fell in love with the show as they watched Lauren and Cameron falling in love, Amber and Barnett falling into place, and Jessica and Mark falling apart.

But it's been quite a while since the Love Is Blind series premiere that took place on February 13, 2020, and the fans are hungry for more. For the time being, these fans have been following the main season 1 castmembers and keeping up with their lives. Lauren & Cameron are still together, and so are Amber & Barnett and Giannina & Damian. Jessica & Mark have also found love separately, and Mark's girlfriend is even pregnant now. Still, everyone is eager to meet new contestants on the show and watch them going through the pod experience.

As of this writing, there is still no official release date for Love Is Blind season 2. With that said, multiple reports surfaced during the summer of 2020 and indicated that casting was being conducted in Chicago, Illinois. It is safe to assume that the upcoming season has wrapped filming, but COVID-19 restrictions might've affected production as a whole. Still, Love Is Blind season 2 is definitely expected to be released in early 2021 - hopefully in the first quarter of the year, but definitely in the first half. It's not a secret that Netflix is looking forward to pushing its hit dating show even further, competing with the likes of The Bachelor and Love Island.

While most reports indicated that Love Is Blind season 2 will be set in Chicago, there were also a few reports hinting that casting was also going on in New York City. But there is still no word on whether the second season will feature contestants from both Chicago and New York, or if the NYC casting reports were for the series' confirmed third season. It is also possible that casting in NYC was simply preliminary and that the producers could've given up on it as the number of COVID-19 cases kept on rising.

All things considered, reality TV fans are dying to watch Love Is Blind season 2. Now that 2021 is here, the new season could be released at any minute.
