The co-founder and the rhythm guitarist of KISS, Paul Stanley has taken Twitter to remind his fans to do not believe everything they read on the Internet just because there is a famous face attached to it through an Abraham Lincoln meme.
As you may remember, the iconic face of KISS and a pretty active Twitter user, Paul Stanley, has recently commented upon former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick‘s celebration of the ‘Asylum Tour’s 35th anniversary.
He congratulated his ex-bandmate who put live fan footage together with his soundboard tape, showing Bruce, Eric Carr, Paul, and Gene lineup killing it on The Who’s ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again.’
After recalling the good old days, Stanley has shown up on the platform to warn his fans against the information pollution and the false indication of the Internet. He posted the picture of Abraham Lincoln with a quote next to him implying that many people actually believe everything on the internet if there was a photo of some famous person next to the statement.
Here’s what the quote said:
‘Don’t believe everything you read on the Internet just because there’s a picture with a quote next to it.’
Here’s what Paul Stanley said in the caption of his latest tweet:
“Now more than ever…”
