JUST A QUICK DISCLAIMER: I asked a lot of people for input on this list in order to include a nice mix of genres and eras. And since there are hundreds (thousands??) of songs that could go on this list, I set some ground rules: 1) The songs have to be positive love songs — which means no break up songs, no unrequited love songs, and no sad songs in general. And 2) Only one song per artist, for fairness. Did I break both these rules? Yes, but I hope you agree that my exceptions are warranted.
